Staughton Thorne Architects

A design characterised by the available colour palette inherent in the materials used. The external colours of the metal cladding are derived from the colour pattern of the canvas blind to the kitchen window, and continued internally through a paint scheme which integrates the original house with the new addition. Roof and ceiling operate together as an inclined plane which unifies the spaces beneath, including a new bay window extending into the native garden at the rear.
