Staughton Thorne Architects

An expansion of an existing house designed by Alistair Knox in 1975. Divided accommodation for four vehicles creates a new entry experience which is clad in machined plywood to resonate with the form and character of the original building. A new room extends from the adjacent living area with a mirrored portal into the bushland beyond.
